HISTORY
From our humble beginnings back in the 1970’s where Neil and Elna Crawley first started manufacturing and installing Blinds and Awnings in Kirwan. We then moved our manufacturing arm over to Garbutt and kept our retail showroom in Kirwan. Fast forward to the present day where Crawley Blinds & Awnings is still owned by Elna Crawley and operated by herself and her family, Jason and Amanda. Crawley Blinds & Awnings is still in Kirwan and operate out of a Showroom and Manufacturing Factory located at 3 Castlemaine Street Kirwan.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The Crawley Family’s accomplishments over the last 40 years have impacted the Awning and Blind industry nationwide. Neil Crawley was one of the main contributors of the engineering of the Colorbond Steel Awnings with Valectro Industries. These Awnings revolutionised the Awning industry with a product that was stronger and more durable. To this day our TROPICOOL Awnings are the strongest range of Hooded and Louvred Awnings available on the market. This is because we are the only company in Australia who manufacture them to the original engineering specifications.

For troubleshooting problems and for advice in other areas due to our knowledge and experience. Neil Crawley’s wealth of knowledge and ability to work around almost anything has created the Crawley Blinds & Awnings Empire that it is today having been passed down to the family over the past 30 years.
COMMUNITY
Crawley Blinds & Awnings over the years has also contributed to the Townsville Community with donations to many organisations and schools. Even advertising on school buses to donate money.
