The use of our High Tensile Ultra High Tech Patio Blind Fabrics offer more features than standard external fabrics. Available in 3 different styles, a Sunscreen, a Blockout and a Translucent (light filtering) Waterproof option, there is a fabric to suit all homes and commercial premises.
Our High Tensile External Fabrics thanks to their highly regular, perforated micro-structure act as a genuine heat filter. They repel up to 92% of the warmth of the sun’s rays, thus avoiding any greenhouse effect and help to prevent buildings from overheating in summer. In winter the process is reversed helping to maintain heat within the building.
The heart of our High Tensile External Fabrics is made up of a high-strength polyester core while the distinctive Reachel Trameur-style weaving method used in it’s manufacture give it outstanding resistance to bad weather. The particular weaving method allows the threads to move in relation to each other in order to spread, transmit and absorb mechanical energy in the event of tearing.
The Lowick System used in our High Tensile Fabrics blocks the capillarity effect so the fabric’s absorption of water is very limited, therefore this makes our High Tensile External Fabrics more durable allowing them to stand up to even the most extreme weather conditions.
Our High Tensile External Fabrics are also Fire Retardant making them suitable for both commercial and domestic purposes.
